No. Wynd does not show users where you currently are. When you create a new balloon or attach a new postcard to a balloon your launch location will be added to the balloon. This location will be visible to other Wynd users who later grab the balloon.
Part of the fun of Wynd is launching balloons from new and interesting locations!
